Just a note to say that I haven't forgotten you. I was anxious for the exam, but I think I got through it okay. I just have to learn to write faster.
I've been cranking out assignments, but once I'm done with those (which will be soon), I can give you my full attention. Then it will be non-stop Eliot ranting.

I know how you feel. Those assignments are a killer. I wrote four essays and a huge (HUGE) exam in a week. i think i went insane too. or maybe it hasn't left.
i gave myself a break yesterday (for some much much much needed sleep) and now onto Eliot.

(ack, now there's an oxymoron).
It seems like my life is based on no sleep. Oh well, now it will be better...now I need to find a summer job. Anyway, in terms of Eliot, yes Talia, I think that is a struggle in Eliot's work; it demonstrates such a broad intellectual space, but confines itself to particular references and meanings. I'm not sure if he would have liked his work to be called 'subjective art,' I think he had very objective intentions, and if people did not catch on to them, he thought, oh, well.
After the 15th, I'll post my little short story for you to see. Check it out! It's pretty short, don't worry...lol....maybe you can post some of your stuff, too?
